Russian-Indian webinar «Disaster Management Technologies» to be held on December 1–2

The Russian-Indian webinar on Disaster Management Technologies will be held on December 1–2, 2021 at the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).

The event was prepared by the RAS Department for International Cooperation with the support of the Indian Embassy in Moscow. The event will continue the series of scientific conferences held as part of scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and India.

The programme includes four scientific sessions on the following topics:

  1. Disaster risk reduction and resilient technology enabled infrastructure;
  2. Integration of multiple weather sensors, satellite imagery and improving disaster forecasts;
  3. Big Data integration and crisis analytics;
  4. Use of drones, robotics and IoT data integration for improving disaster response.

The working language of the event is English (at least at the intermediate level).
