Award ceremony for UNESCO — Russia Mendeleev International Prize to be broadcast live

The award ceremony for the UNESCO — Russia Mendeleev International Prize in the Basic Sciences will be broadcast live on November 15, at 21:30.

The first winners of the UNESCO — Russia Mendeleev International Prize in the Basic Sciences were Academician Yuri Oganessian, Head of the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, and Vincenzo Balzani, Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at the University of Bologna.

The RAS delegation is led by RAS President Academician Alexander Sergeev. Also attending will be Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
